Join us on this two hour private boat tour as we explore the calm waters behind Folly Beach in search of the local bottlenose dolphins. As we cruise through the creeks and inlets, you will have the opportunity to see these beautiful animals play, sleep and hunt. If the dolphins are feeding, you may be able to observe a hunting strategy called “strand feeding,” only seen in this part of the world. Along the way, you will also have the chance to see other local wildlife, such as wading birds, bald eagles, osprey, pelicans or maybe a sea turtle.

What To Bring:

Hat, sun screen, towels and shoes. You may bring a small cooler along with water/beverages and snacks (No Glass Please). A cooler and ice will be provided on the boat. Dress for the conditions (check the weather and wear the appropriate attire).

Join us as we cruise through the tidal creeks behind Folly Beach where you will have the opportunity to see the local wildlife as we make our way to the southern point of Morris Island. As we approach this uninhabited island, the first landmark you will see is the Morris Island Lighthouse, which has stood in this spot since 1876. Upon our arrival, we will exit the boat, and you will have the opportunity to explore the island at your own pace. Morris Island is one of the best places in the world to look for shark teeth, fossils or shells. You may also want to relax on the beach and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean.

We will make a stop at Morris Island to see the Lighthouse bathed in the evening glow before returning to the dock to see the sun fade below the horizon. The Morris Island Drop Off is ideal if you want to explore the island on your own and would like to spend more than a couple hours searching the beach. You will have the choice to be dropped off on the Cummings Point end or the Lighthouse end of the island. There is a 2 person minimum and you must keep a cell phone with you for safety reasons (Ex. Bad weather). Drop off and pick up will work around other tours, so there is no defined time for how long you may be on the island. On busy days, you may have to wait for a time in our schedule to be picked up.
